First, an update on my psycho neighbor.  I talked to my sister and she recommended keeping track of what I’ve heard (it’s second hand but if something happens it’s better than nothing) and writing down her (and her men-friends) license plate #’s.  So, I did that last night.  Well, I wrote down what I’ve heard and one of her man-friend’s license plates.  She parked her car in such a way that you can’t see her plates.  I’ll get it though.  Got some nasty looks from her and the man-friend last night when I got home from getting my ice cream but I just continue to ignore them.  Crazy people don’t require a response.  Now if I could just remember that and not keep thinking about her craziness.

Now on to my treats.  I got rid of my microwave a while back.  For a while I’ve had a problem with the “idea” of a microwave and it not being very healthy to have around.  Then I was talking with some friends and the subject came up. Then I read an article on the topic.  So, the microwave went away.  I do still use it at work because there’s no oven and cold leftovers suck.  But, at home I just reheat everything in the oven.  I haven’t missed it at all. (In fact, I like the extra counter space.)

Until today.

There’s microwave popcorn in the cupboard at work and I had it for an afternoon snack.  It was so dang good.  I usually don’t like microwave popcorn.  I think it stinks.  But, this tasted really good.  Maybe it was just because I haven’t had it in a while or whatever, but it tasted good. :)   I think I need to get some popcorn for at home.  I’ll make it on the stovetop, it’ll be good.  :)   Probably won’t stink either so that will be even better because even though this was good it still stunk and now my office stinks.  :(

  1. You GOT RID of your microwave? Are you crazy!?!?

Of course, I’m in Texas… no way would I heat up the kitchen just for leftovers. Heck, it’s 110 outside, just leave it outside for an hour. LOL

You should get a small toaster oven. We have one and they are great to heat up leftovers and you don’t have to turn on the oven! You can even cook in them, some are even big enough to cook a pie in. We eat air popped pop corn…wanted to text you last night but I was watching it semi-live!
