Yes, I know I’m posting a lot today…it’s one of those days that I want to talk (plus I’m making up for lost time LOL).

The highlight of my summer (OK, maybe not the highlight but something I really look forward to) is Big Brother.  I was lucky to get a double dose this year when they had a winter session due to that writer’s strike.  So, I’ve been checking and checking to see when this season would start and it never showed up on my DVR guide.  Until last night, only I missed the first episode.  :(  Luckily CBS has it on their website so I can catch up.

So, do you watch Big Brother too?  Can we talk about it?

Over the weekend someone started sending spam crap mail from one of my domains and all the bounced messages flooded my inbox yesterday morning….like over 300 of them!  Some people really need to get a life.

On top of the OVER 300 bounced messages that I received and deleted, I had OVER 900 spam messages in that one account.  Seriously, this is insane.  I don’t even use that account any more for anything because I can’t separate the good messages from the crap.

I’m so sick of this…some days I really wish I could get rid of e-mail…like the days that I have to sit and wait for 900 pieces of CRAP to download.

What a couple of weeks. Yes, I know it’s been two week’s since I’ve posted. Those two weeks have been CRAZY.

Let’s see, first we had 4th of July. Nothing too exciting there. I spent the day with my brother’s family and a load of their friends who were visiting from California. It was fun. We went downtown and hung out for most of the day. Saturday I spent at their house with them BBQing and having fun.

Sunday I watched my niece and nephew all day so my brother and sister-in-law could do some stuff with their friends (without kids). Sunday I got an e-mail that rocked me. I found out that a very good friend from high school was killed in a car accident. This friend started dating one of my very close friends when she and I were freshman in high school. They have since gotten married and have a gorgeous little three year old daughter. We haven’t really stayed in touch much since high school but the news still rocked me.

So, after getting in touch with old friends that I haven’t spoken too in way too many years I was able to get all the information on his services and flew to CA last Wednesday evening to attend his funeral. I’m glad I went, it was good for me in many ways.

The weekend, however ended with me just in a pretty big slump. Lots has been going on and it just caught up to me emotionally.

So, after arriving in Spokane at 10PM, getting my bags and walking through the parking lot to my car, then driving the 45 minutes home I was one tired, and depressed, chick.  I walked up my stairs dragging my suitcase and work bag with me to find this at my front door.

Talk about making my day!  A friend had been watering my plants while I was gone and left this for me.   First, doesn’t it fit perfect in that corner!  Second is that not the cutest pot you’ve ever seen!?!?!?!  And, I can’t even tell you how great it made me feel to have that sitting there when I got home.  :)

Well…now I really need to get some work done.
