and I’m tired. I haven’t been sleeping well lately. Last night I didn’t fall asleep until 2AM or later. But, then I was wide awake at 7:30 this morning. That doesn’t cut it for me. I seriously need more sleep than that.
Any way, I went to a stamp camp today with my friend Connie. It was fun. We made four or five projects. I say four or five because I’m not sure if one project is counted as one or two projects. Actually, I could say that we made a lot more because one project was actually seven different items in itself.
Confusing? You should have seen me when I was there.
The first project was embossing a tin box. Yeah, I didn’t know you could stamp on metal either. To go with that project we made three mini cards and a band for the box. This is the one that I’m not really sure if it counts as one project or two. So, whatever. LOL
Next I went to the coaster frame table. Yeah, I didn’t understand the title either. I also didn’t understand the directions and had to have someone walk me through step-by-step which was pretty funny because there were about 897 steps to this project. But, it turned out kind of neat.
Next I made a box. It was pretty simple, just a box with a lid and a band to hold it together. Cool.
The last project was my favorite, I think. It’s also the on that was really sort of seven different projects. We made a magnetic note pad holder (super simple). Then we jazzed up a pen and put a magnet on it. Then we made four magnets. Finally we framed a sheet of metal to hold all the magnet items. It’s really cool (although someone made a not so nice comment that all my pieces look the same — uh HELLO it’s called COORDINATING, jeez).
I’d show pictures of my favorite project but, well, I don’t have a camera and you might be getting one for Christmas this year. LOL
The weather ended up being AWESOME today. Kind of a bummer that I was in the library at the high school doing my stamping. Tomorrow I’ll be in a conference all day too so I’ll miss out on the awesome weather again. Plus, I’m so dang tired I just want to curl up and watch a movie. So,
Till later…
