Sunday marks the annual Ironman Triathlon in Coeur d’Alene. Well, part of the bike portion goes right by my new house — blocking off the road to leave as it happens. Well, I’ve been wanting to have my niece over for our first slumber party at Auntie’s house so Saturday is it. I think it will be fun to sit on my balcony Sunday morning and watch the bikers ride by. They do two loops so we’ll be able to see them twice.

This weekend is also the city carnival so I thought we’d do that also. For a while on Saturday. Ally loves the rides and I have fun watching her ride them. Maybe her mommy and daddy will join us for that for a while.

I’m so excited to have her over for the night. She wants to sleep in “her room” (aka my office). So I need to bring one of my air mattresses over for her. I’ll probably bring them both because my sister and nephew will be here in 11 days for a week long visit.
