So, I’ve been having some trouble with Outlook the past few weeks. I finally just got sick of it and decided to take my life elsewhere. (I know you’re thinking that’s a typo, not it’s not…Outlook is my life.) So, the e-mail things was an easy switch. I’ve been using Firefox for quite some time now so switching to Thunderbird for e-mail was an easy decision. I spent a little bit (OK, a while) of time last night getting everything set-up and it’s looking good now. All I need to do is recreate my signatures and I’m good to go. 
But, then we come to my next problem. I utilize the Outlook calendar and task functions A LOT. So, I need to come up with a good solution for that problem. Well, I searched and searched and searched last night and I think I might have a solution. Mozilla makes a program called Sunbird that has the additional functions I need. So, I downloaded it. However, I can’t get my current calendar into this calendar. 
I’m still working on it. I even found anothe function that if I can figure out how to make it work will be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I’ve been using google as my home page for a month or so. If I can figure out how I can get Sunbird and Google calendar to sync with each other. Woah, now THAT would be uber-cool. But, that’s making my non-techy brain hurt trying to figure out. So, that’ll wait until another day. (Although, if you really want to get excited with me I figured out WHAT I need to do, now I just need to figure out HOW to do it. I’m cheering for myself in case you can’t see me. LOL) The only thing will be figuring out if this solution will still allow me to sync with my palm. At this point, unfortunately, I don’t think that will work. So, I need to figure something else out. OK….hold that thought…I might have a solution.

Maybe it’s a downfall or maybe it’s one of my amusing quirks. Either way, I’m easily amused. But, let me explain some stuff first, otherwise this won’t be as funny. Our house is a computer friendly house. LOL In otherwords, we have a few computers — four to be exact. All the computers are networked, and I have one main printer down in the office that can be used by any of the computers. However, if anyone prints anything while I’m working (the printer is on my desk in my office) it kind of freaks me out — OK, maybe startles me is a better word. So, I’m sitting here working today, deep in concentration (because that’s what I do when I’m working), diligently working on an intense project for a client (OK, I was entering some receipts but at least give me the satisfaction of making my story sound interesting) when I hear the printer rumble. It gave me a start and I looked over to see how important this piece of paper is that was interupting my work. Slowly (yes, I said slowly because that printer seems like it’s on geritol even though it supposedly prints fast — I’m impatient) a piece of paper slips out and instantly giggles erupt from me (that’s what happens when I’m diligently working in deep concentration and someone decides to be nice.
So, now you know, I’m easily amused.

How to Survive a Long Fall - WikiHow The how to’s are pretty funny. If you haven’t already, make google your home page. Just be sure to add the eyes. LOL Seriously, be sure you add the eyes…it’ll give you HOURS of entertainment. Or, maybe you shouldn’t add the eyes…it’s probably wasted time. LOL

See, I like to talk about stuff. But, I’m having a very hard time coming up with things to talk abut. Why is that? If I were sitting with you I’d have a million things to tell you. But, sitting here by myself staring at a computer screen I can come up with nothing. Besides that, I need to come up with something that will make me remember to post stuff. So, I have an idea. But, I need your help. See, I’ve decided to come up with a daily theme. Something silly, something that will give me something to talk about each day. Then, of course, I’ll start yammering on and I’ll post all kinds of fun things to share with you. LOL I’m weird, I know. It’s just the story of my life.
So, here’s kind of what I was thinking.

Surfing Sunday — and I’ll share a favorite website or online game or something that has to do with a website. LOL
