Archive for July, 2006

Hmmm…now that’s one to ponder. LOL

For some reason I’m really into summer this year. I’m enjoying each day of summer, though. However, it’s NOT time for winter stuff to come out! I’m not saying I’m dreading winter. When it comes, I’ll great it with a smile on my face (yeah, you still might get a few grumbles but I’ll welcome it still). But, it’s still July for crying out loud. Let me enjoy my summer. I still want to float the river. I still want to get out on the boat. I still want to swim in the lake. I still want to go camping (I think). But, no, Sunday I went to the store and they had flipping sweaters and jackets out already. I’ve already determined that I can survive one more summer with the clothes I have, it’s fine. But I DON’T want to see winter clothes yet.

It seems I’ve been traveling like crazy lately. I don’t even feel like I’ve been working (although my timesheet tells me I am LOL). My schedule has been crazy. Here take a peek…

June 15-17 - Babysat Ally while Brian & Faye were in Seattle
June 25-30 - CDY Mission trip to Bonners Ferry
July 2-10 - Mom, Dad, Tami, & Rider were here visiting
July 12-15 - Friends from CA visited
July 21-23 - Portland with Friends
July 25-Aug1 - Bethany & Phil here visiting
Aug 11-16 - CDY Summer Camp

But, it’s been fun. I’m getting used to working at the church two days a week. I don’t think I’ll continue in the fall. I love what I’m doing, it just doesn’t feel “right”. But, we’ll see what happens.

Work has been going great. I have gotten new clients recently and that’s been awesome. I just applied to take the test to become certified. I’ve heard it’s difficult, so we’ll see how I do. I’d love to have the “CVA” added to my title. And, hopefully it’ll help with business.

So, Brian, Faye, & Ally left for a week’s vacation on Saturday. When the pulled away I got a little sad. I wasn’t expecting to get sad, but I did. That lasted until Sunday. Then I just decided to enjoy the quiet. :) Which I’ve been doing.

Now I think I’m going to work on sprucing up my websites. Because they need a little sprucing up.

Till later…

Dreams by Kenny Chesney

She says most men her age want younger women.
She thinks her self esteem’s not quite itself any more.
But she sees herself as more than what the mirror shows,
Why that’s so important, heaven only knows.
When the important part for her is,
Souls and heart’s sayin’:

Dreams of sharin’ a life and a home.
Dreams.
Of never ever bein’ alone again.
Dreams.
Not even diamonds, just a little gold.
Someone there to hold her hand when she gets old.
Dreams, the kind you know will never end.
Forever lovers and forever friends.
Someone really there, to love and care, and share,
Dreams.

She swears she won’t divorce a third time.
She swears the more she knows about love, the harder it is to find.
Her perfect picture of her white horse prince,
Is now dependent, dirty and promises,
Someone kind and brave.
Someone not afraid of:

Dreams of sharin’ a life and a home
Dreams.
Of never ever bein’ alone again.
Dreams.
Not even diamonds, just a little gold.
Someone there to hold her hand when she gets old.
Dreams, the kind you know will never end.
Forever lovers and forever friends.
Someone really there, to love and care, and share,
Dreams.

Oh, Dreams, the kind you know will never end.
Forever lovers, forever friends.
Someone really there, to love and care, and share,
Dreams.

She says most men her age want younger women.
