So, in 24 hours I’ll be boarding the plane to fly back to California to see my parents, my sisters, and my nephew. To say I’m excited doesn’t exactly capture what I’m feeling right now.

Now, I’ll be honest with you. I can’t say that I’m looking forward to going to CALIFORNIA. Last time I was there it was a countdown to when I got to leave. I am REALLY looking forward to seeing my family, don’t get me wrong, but, being away from California, in a place that’s quieter and friendlier makes it hard to go back. Besides, there’s A LOT of traffic there. LOL

But, it’s been over four months since I’ve seen my sisters and nephew and I’m really excited about seeing them. It’s also been two months since I’ve seen my parents and I’m excited about seeing them too.

It’s pretty funny when I tell people where I’m going. The response is always “why?” LOL I just say “to see my family” and the reply is always, “well, I guess I’d go for that too”.

I’m hoping that my family actually parks the car and comes in to get me at the airport. We talked about not telling my nephew I was coming and seeing his face when I walked around the corner…I don’t know if they decided to do that but he’s still going to be excited to see me! I’m going to be super excited to see him too! I’m excited to see everyone but he doesn’t talk on the phone very well so seeing him is going to be fun!!!

OK…I should probably do something else today.
