This is the Idaho I thought I’d be living in for five months out of the year. But, this is not the Idaho I’m living in. It’s been raining but it’s green outside. Not a drop of snow anywhere, unless you count the huge piles in some of the parking lots that are a big pile of black yuck.

So, this was my first full week of working from home. I think I have my schedule down now I just need to stick to it. It’ll work if I don’t take a day off to go exploring like I did this week. Or, if I do explore I need to plan my week better.

So, I had to interrupt this message to run upstairs for an urgent call from my brother. See, I had this AWESOME idea of putting together welcome packets to sell to realtors to give to their customers after they sell a house. Only, we just had a lady stop by to give us our welcome packet. I guess my idea was a really good one…only someone else got to it first. Oh well. I find another great idea.

So, Thursday I went and had tea with my new friend from church. It was great. My opinions on the church have changed so much since making a connection with this one couple (I also met her husband). Now I’m looking forward to meeting more people and getting involved at the church.

The weather outside is amazing. It’s been a little chilly and I could do without the rain, but it’s so pretty. Today we’re going to go for a walk around the block. But, first I need to spend some time moving things around the house (i.e. moving things that I thought I wanted in my room up to the storage room since my room will be too dang crowded with them in here). I do want a couple thing so I guess I’ll look through the boxes a little bit and then move them upstairs.

I also have to move my summer clothes upstairs. I’ve never packed away my summer clothes before. In CA I always kept them out because I could wear them year round. But, now I’m putting them away. I don’t need all those short sleeved shirts now. I kept a couple out but most were packed away.

So, I better really start this day.
