What are you Thankful for? With Thanksgiving upon us what makes you sit back and say Thank You? I am thankful to some friends who helped to compile this list.
- I am thankful for my family and the ability to spend time with them over the next few days
- I am thankful for having “enough”
- I am thankful for a roof over my head, food in the cupboard, clothes to wear. It’s more than many have and I don’t take it for granted for one minute
- I am thankful I live in a free country. I am thankful for friends (real and “virtual”)
- I am thankful that I am alive
- I am thankful i have a full time job
- I am thankful for freedom and safety
- I am thankful for my life
- I am thankful for the good times
- I am thankful for the bad times
- I am thankful for my business
- I am thankful for my friends
- I am thankful for so many other things, but most of all, the gift that God gave us his son, who died on the cross for an undeserving person such as I. I am thankful for Heaven
I am very thankful for all the blessings God has bestowed on me and all the ways he has worked in my life the past few months preparing me for this journey He has in store for me.
A Thanksgiving Test - a different perspective on what we should truly be thankful for:
If you have your health and you have no meaning in your life, no hope, no family, no passion, no ideals, no patriotism, no virtue you have nothing. Health is not even in the top 10 of things to be thankful for.
Doing what you ought to do does not always make you as happy as doing what you want to do. But the point of life is to do what you ought to do,…
Happy Thanksgiving,
Lanel
