So, winters in Idaho are going to be different that winters in California. So, I decided to ask a good friend for advice on what my car needs. I’ve been asking and asking to make sure I have everything covered.

1. Do I need studded tires? Two people say no, my front wheel drive will be OK. One friend who grew up in Idaho says yes. So, we’ll see. I bought snow chains (well, actually they are cables) for my car. That’ll get me to Idaho, and if I need something better I’ll get it then. If not, those will stay in my car until who knows when. LOL

2. Battery, I guess I need to have my battery “load tested”. (Like I know what that is LOL.) But, they said to have it tested to see if it will have enough cold cranking amps (cca) for the weather conditions. OK. I’ll tell them to do that.

Now I realize I need to get new wiper blades. I also have a burned out headlight and got a notice from Volkswagon that they need to do a repair to the seat warmer mechanism. So, I guess I’ll just put together a list of things that need to be done and take it there. All before December 9th.

That seems simple. Hopefully I can handle that. LOL
