So, winters in Idaho are going to be different that winters in California. So, I decided to ask a good friend for advice on what my car needs. I’ve been asking and asking to make sure I have everything covered.

1. Do I need studded tires? Two people say no, my front wheel drive will be OK. One friend who grew up in Idaho says yes. So, we’ll see. I bought snow chains (well, actually they are cables) for my car. That’ll get me to Idaho, and if I need something better I’ll get it then. If not, those will stay in my car until who knows when. LOL

2. Battery, I guess I need to have my battery “load tested”. (Like I know what that is LOL.) But, they said to have it tested to see if it will have enough cold cranking amps (cca) for the weather conditions. OK. I’ll tell them to do that.

Now I realize I need to get new wiper blades. :( I also have a burned out headlight and got a notice from Volkswagon that they need to do a repair to the seat warmer mechanism. So, I guess I’ll just put together a list of things that need to be done and take it there. All before December 9th.

That seems simple. Hopefully I can handle that. LOL

<> Monday’s aren’t fun. :(

Last night I went to bed super early. I had a migraine. :( It was horrible. At the time the thought of death was better than the horrid pain I was feeling. I woke up during the night with it and still don’t feel great. I went to my chiropractor this morning and feel better since the visit but still not great.

I was able to work; when I first got up I doubted I’d make it, but I did. Not that I accomplished everything I planned on doing. Do I ever? Somedays I wish I could turn off the phones and just work on what I need to do and not get interrupted. But, there’s always tomorrow to get the rest of the stuff done. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything so I guess I really shouldn’t complain about the interruptions. :)

So, tonight I’m going to pack some stuff in my room. I really need to get packing if I want my stuff moved in the trailer that leaves in 17 days. <> Not that I have a lot to pack or anything since most of my stuff never got unpacked from my last move. But, I still need to figure out what I’m going to do with the stuff in my bedroom. That’s tonights goal.

Till later.

So, I decided to make my own Christmas cards this year. I did it two years ago but didn’t get them sent out until last Christmas. So, this year I decided to start early. I found a card I liked online (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/) and made some little changes to make it mine. They are four layers, lavender and silver. I think it looks really nice. But, then I started making them. OMG, it’s taking longer than I expected. It’s a good thing I started in September. LOL I just hope people appreciate the work. I’m not doing them to impress people, but since I’m putting all this work into them I just hope they are liked.

I made a couple other things today, also. J I made a gift box type thing with ladybugs stamped on it. I think it turned out kind of cute. It seems to me that something else would complete it, but I’m not sure what that something would be. It looks OK as it is, though. Then I made a fun Christmas card. I copied this one from someone else on the website, too. This one is really cute. I’m going to take it with me to church tomorrow to show Wendy. I think she’ll like it. I’ll have to try to remember.

So, it’s Saturday. I was going to pack some stuff today. The truck leaves in 20 days and I haven’t even started my room. I still really need to sort through the rest of the stuff in my storage unit. I need to get some more boxes and see if someone, maybe Tami, can come and sit with me while I sort…it’s so stinkin’ boring doing it alone. L

Well, soups on. Literally. I’m making chicken soup for dinner and baking some bread. Should be yummy. The weather’s so crazy it’s a good day for soup. Yesterday was hot, like 90’s hot. Today it’s kind of chilly. Good soup weather, chilly.

Till later.
